WOMP!
Collaborative multiplayer with only one button
WOMP! is a collaborative multiplayer game currently in development for the Xbox 360. WOMP! brings a fun and accessible gameplay experience to groups of players with varying levels of gaming expertise. Players are challenged to work together to control a customizable flying contraption – the Wobblegong – through an obstacle-filled environment. Each player is responsible for a single function of the Wobblegong (e.g., flapping a wing), and all interactions in the game are performed with only a single button on the controller.
WOMP! is the second most exciting thing a group of people can do on a sofa. WOMP! is being rapidly developed under the mentorship of Brenda Bailey, C.O.O. of Deep Fried Entertainment. The first proof of concept prototype was used to secure a pioneering development grant from Microsoft Game Studios under the mentorship of Don Mattrick. Follow our development at WompGame.com.
